Connecting To Email From Home

When connecting to the email server from outside the network, you will be presented with two choices.  You will either see two boxes (username and password) or three boxes (username, password, and domain).

If you see two boxes

  • In the username box put username@domain.local, in the password box put your password.  If you are a new employee to the district, or from the champs school, your password is set to the default password.  You can call the school to find out what this is.

Example:  User John Doe

Username: jdoe@domain.local
Passowrd: *********
  • If the above does not work, you can also try just your username (without the @domain.local) in the username box.

Example:  User John Doe

Username: jdoe
Passowrd: *********

If you see three boxes

In the username box put your username, in the password box put your password (see note above for new teachers and champs), and in the third box put the word domain.

Example:  User John Doe

Username: jdoe
Passowrd: *********
Domain: domain

Please be aware that some Internet provides are filtering out the services that the web client uses and therefore some people will have trouble connecting.  If you are having trouble connecting, please be sure to send all details (Operating System, Browser, Internet Provider) when contacted support about this.
